When we are in a place of compassion, kindness and safety, we are in a position to smile, take risks, let go of what is holding us back and to grow.

A LITTLE INTRODUCTION

Yoga & mindfulness for children

Yoga & mindfulness has great benefits for children’s emotional and physical health and wellbeing, connecting mind, body and breath. Yoga & mindfulness support a growth mindset approach through encouraging children to ‘have a go’ and take risks, providing positive and affirming language, encouraging persistence, and relieving stress and anxiety which aids learning.

The sessions give children a fun opportunity to explore yoga & mindfulness through movement, games and music. The children learn skills and strategies that they are able to take off the mat and use in their busy lives.

My daughter has struggled in the past to cope with stress but since attending yoga at school she has learnt how to calm herself down and be more mindful during difficult times. She has enjoyed learning different poses and the relaxation has enabled her to have small moments of calm in her busy little life.
